My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog G:3Jamboree – Sweet, Gentle, and Sensitive At just 1.5 years old and 52 pounds, Jamboree is a female Pit Bull Terrier who combines curiosity with a soft, loving spirit. She’s still figuring out the world around her, but her gentle heart shines through in every interaction. Cautious explorer: On leash, Jamboree may stop and start at first, taking in her surroundings with calm sniffs before continuing along, with your patience and encouragement. Loving companion: She happily climbs up with her paws on your lap, asking for affection, and responds with sweet tender as you pet her. Polite treat taker: She accepts treats gently, though sometimes the bustle of the environment can feel overwhelming for her.  Affection-seeker: Jamboree looks to her human companion for reassurance, even when gently told “no,” showing just how eager she is to connect and please. Sensitive soul: With her tender, affectionate nature, she’ll blossom with a patient adopter who enjoys helping her grow into her best self.
