ALL ABOUT ME Name: Brita Age: 6 months old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Mini Jindo mix Colour: Brown Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped: Yes MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Brita. I was born in the Korean countryside with my siblings, where we were neglected and tied up outside. Our future was uncertain, but kind rescuers stepped in and saved us just in time. Now I’m safe, loved, and ready to find my forever family where I can finally live the happy life every dog deserves. MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues. MY PERSONALITY I’m a little shy when we first meet, but with a bit of time and some tasty treats, I’ll quickly warm up to you. I’m still a young pup who loves to explore, play with toys, and have fun with my friends. As I grow into a fine young lady, I’ll need some gentle guidance and patience with leash manners and building my confidence—but I promise I’m eager to learn and will blossom with love. MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I can be a little shy at first, gently taking treats from your hand while I get to know you. I prefer not to be touched right away and need a little time to feel safe before enjoying pets. Once I open up, I’m happy to be picked up and will happily soak in your affection. I’m also polite at mealtimes and don’t guard my food from people. With Dogs: Although I can be shy with people, I’m a social butterfly with other dogs! I love meeting new friends and playing together. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, and even if another dog is a bit rude, I simply walk away and avoid the drama. I’m also polite at mealtimes and don’t guard my food from other dogs. With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m young, curious, and adaptable. With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I believe I’ll adjust just fine! ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level (surprising for a puppy!)—just enough to enjoy fun outdoor time to burn off my energy, and then I’m perfectly happy to curl up and snuggle indoors. TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning my leash manners and getting better at following my handler’s lead, though I may pull when something piques my curiosity. I’m a polite eater who doesn’t guard food from people or other dogs, and I’m a quiet pup who rarely barks. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and potty both indoors and outdoors. I can be shy and skittish at first, so I’ll need a few days to feel at ease. For my safety, please double-leash me (harness and collar) until I’m settled. I have so much potential, and with a patient, loving family, I know I’ll blossom into an amazing companion. Volunteers say I can be playful and tricky to catch in the yard, so a secure, enclosed space will help me adjust safely. With time and trust, I’ll become the sweetest, most loyal friend. MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can learn, explore, and grow into a well-behaved young adult. A family that enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time together. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that is patient and understanding. I will need time to come out of my shell. I’m a young pup and need guidance in confidence training and overall social manners (e.g. leash manners) SPECIAL NOTES I’m still learning about the world and figuring out my leash manners, though I’m improving every day! I love to explore, play, and make friends, but I can be a little shy at first and need some time to feel comfortable. I’m quiet, polite, and don’t guard my food from people or other dogs. I potty both indoors and outdoors and know how to rest calmly in my kennel. For my safety, it’s important to keep me double-leashed at first and in a secure space while I settle in. I’m a young pup with so much potential, and with a patient, loving family, I know I’ll grow into an amazing, playful, and loyal companion.
