My story

Professor Gimlet: Department Head of Human StudiesGreetings, students. I am Professor Gimlet, esteemed scholar and University department head of Human Studies. My credentials are unmatched, ask any cat on campus! I specialize in the rigorous study of human behavior, equal parts fascinating, baffling, and bizarre, and my research has set the standard in the field. My academic goal is simple: to unravel the mysteries of human behavior and be remembered as the professor who conquered both laps and lectures.I am not just a scholar; I am an engaging lecturer. I have been known to purr through my presentations… only when the research is adequately stimulating. I will throw in a head butt or two to make sure you are paying close attention! Office hours are conducted exclusively in laps. Should you need snacks during class, please bring enough to share.Like any great research program, mine requires ongoing funding. In my case, that is daily medication for hyperthyroidism, standard issue support for a mind of my caliber. Did I mention I’m in Mensa? The medication does not slow me down one bit; in fact, it ensures the breakthroughs keep coming.Shelter life has been a long sabbatical for me, filled with distractions and unfocused minds. I am overdue for a proper campus, a permanent home where I can expand my studies, and supervise my human subjects with close precision. So, if you would like to enroll, please know this is a rigorous course. Expect head butts, lap lectures, and an endless stream of insights into your own baffling behavior. Sign up today, I promise you will graduate with honors.—Professor GimletPlease visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gimlet, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
