My story

Meet Lala, the 1-year-old black and white Chihuahua with a heart full of sweetness (and a bit of sass, too). She’s up-to-date on her vaccines and heartworm negative, but she’s still adjusting to the shelter environment. It’s loud, it’s overwhelming, and let’s face it—small dogs like Lala deserve a cozy home, not the chaos of a shelter.But once Lala gets to know you, she’ll shower you with love. Think of her as a little sunbeam—she loves soaking up the rays or snuggling up close to you on the couch, where she can keep you company while you binge-watch your favorite shows. And like every true Chihuahua, her heart belongs to food, especially treats. If you’ve got snacks, she’s got the charm.If you’re a fan of this misunderstood, fearless little breed and have a soft spot for a girl with a big personality (and a love for belly rubs), come meet Lala at the Humane Society in Gulfport.
