My story

Hi, I’m Jamo!I’m a sweet, friendly boy who loves attention and will happily follow you around the house. I’ve been told I have a goofy side—if you leave clothes lying around, I’ll make myself a cozy bed out of them (but don’t worry, I never chew them up!). I get along really well with both big and small dogs, and even when another pup isn’t being so nice to me, I just stay friendly.I’m housetrained, good on a leash, and I even know how to sit when you raise your hand with your palm up! I’m a gentle guy with toys and never tear things up, but I do have a curious streak—I sometimes try to check out the trash or toilet if water isn’t available. My foster family is helping me learn, and I’m getting much better.I’m still working on crate training—some days I settle fine, other days I bark to let you know I’d rather be out. With a little patience, I know I’ll get the hang of it. When I’m not playing or looking for love, I’m perfectly content to curl up on a mat or dog bed.If you’re looking for a loyal, fun, and affectionate companion, I’d love to meet you!Adoption fee: $50Jamo is part of our Home to Home Program.
