COURTESY POST Meet Ginger: Ginger is a shy, but very sweet, little lady that is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention. From Their Foster(s): Ginger is a sweet and gentle 4-year-old, 50-pound Lab mix with a calm and easygoing personality. She spends most of her day lounging around the house or relaxing in the backyard, keeping a watchful eye on the squirrels. She enjoys walks and hikes, does very well on leash, and makes a wonderful companion for peaceful outdoor adventures. She can be a little shy or nervous when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and becomes incredibly affectionate and loving. She also has a quirky, playful side that shines through when she feels comfortable. She loves to roll around on the ground and bat at the air with her front paws, especially when she's feeling silly or excited. It’s a charming and goofy little routine that’s sure to make you smile. Ginger gets along well with other dogs in neutral environments, but she has shown some resource guarding in the home and would do best as the only pet. She thrives in a quiet and stable environment, as loud noises like fireworks or trains can make her anxious. A home with a backyard would be ideal so she can spend time outside and enjoy her surroundings. Ginger is looking for a patient and gentle person who will take the time to build trust and provide her with the calm, loving life she deserves. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Interested in this furry companion? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. *PLEASE NOTE* Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them! We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us! We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications! We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community! With a passionate team we are a foster-based animal rescue, partnering with the community to provide shelter and resources prioritizing the animals’ well-being. Every adoption fee directly helps a rescued animal make it safely from a shelter to a loving home. As a nonprofit, we put these fees right back into vet care, food, transport, and all the support to help the next animal. You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey! *Our Mission* At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!
