My story

Meet Sissy, a four year old German Shepherd mix weighing 80 pounds.Sweet Sissy was found in a canal alongside her companion Bubba—but thanks to some kind hearts, they were both rescued and are now safe. It’s clear that Sissy is missing her person and searching for someone new to bond with. Once she finds that special someone, she’ll be your loyal shadow, always wanting to be by your side.She’s past the wild puppy stage, but still has so many good years and so much love to give. A little unsure in new situations, Sissy is gentle at heart and just needs some time and kindness to feel secure again. She already knows the command `sit,` and with her intelligent and willing nature, she’ll thrive with a patient, loving human.If you`re a German Shepherd lover, Sissy will tug at your heart. She has all the loyalty and grace of the breed, wrapped in a soft, soulful presence.This pet is available for adoption on 8/17/2025 at 12:35 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
