My story

Spark is a little spark of joy. With her perpetually furrowed brow and bright inquisitive eyes, she maintains an endearing quizzical look. She is most like her mom in looks and personality. Although she is everyone's friend and loves to play with other dogs and people, she is more on the reserved side and wants to check out each new adventure before jumping in. After play she likes to be held. Spark likes to ride in the car and go on outings and walks. She is doing really well with her house training, the resident cat, and simple commands. At 3 months old Spark weighs 18 lbs. The 4 Independence Day Pups arrived just a few days old at a UAF foster home on July 4th. They are all friendly people oriented cuddle bugs that enjoy being held as much as playing and romping with each other. Their mother is Liberty who is also able to be adopted. She is a sweet, small 40 lb. Yellow lab looking dog. We can only guess at the Dad, but judging by these gorgeous pups he was a "looker". Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
