About Stella: Stella Lou came from a hobby farm where she lived outdoors, surrounded by other animals and plenty of open space. She’s now adjusting to life indoors and making wonderful progress! Though she’s a bit skittish at first, her gentle nature and love for other dogs shine through. She's even earned the title of "helper dog" in rescue, helping test the temperament of new canine arrivals thanks to her friendly demeanor. What She Needs: Stella would thrive in a home with: A secure yard to run, sniff, and explore (a hound’s dream!) Another friendly dog to keep her company and help build her confidence Patient adopters who will give her time to adjust and blossom at her own pace A family who doesn’t mind the occasional “hound voice” — Stella takes her guardian role seriously and will alert you to visitors... or the occasional bear (true story!).
