My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue A SOCIABLE LAP CAT Meow! My name is Viviana, and I'm a beautiful girl with a happy and outgoing nature who was born around August 3, 2023. Extremely social and always eager to meet new people, I'm often happily sniffing and bumping up against the hands of new friends. I'm very curious--not just with people, but also with new surroundings! Upon entering the rescue, I immediately wanted to explore my new space, eagerly looking around and plotting all the ways I could duck out of my cage! I prefer to give and receive affection over romping around. I'm not very playful and would prefer to be a "lap cat," a feline who enjoys spending quality time with her people and is often seeking out attention. On top of my calm and loving nature, I am very food-motivated. I'm always eager for wet food, treats, even dry food--as long as I'm well-fed, I'm happy! I get along well with other cats and children. While I do not have experience with dogs, I believe I could do well with a canine companion with the proper introduction. I am at the Kitty Corner and I can’t wait to meet you!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
