Oh hey, I’m Wrangler, your friendly neighborhood Border Collie/Aussie mix. And let me just tell you, someone out there decided to cross the two highest-energy herding breeds on the planet and thought it was a good idea. The result? ME! Basically a Ferrari engine stuffed into a 4-legged fuzzball. Here’s the deal: I was picked up as a stray. My people knew where I was, the neighbors knew, even law enforcement knew, but my family said, “Nah, we’re good.” Honestly, I think they just couldn’t keep up with me. See, dogs like me were bred to work all day, every day. Border Collies and Aussies herd sheep, cattle, ducks, basically anything that moves. No farm animals around? Fine, I’ll herd your kids, your cats, your vacuum cleaner, or even the shadows on the wall. I need a job. That’s not me being difficult, that’s just what my DNA screams at me to do.So let’s be real: I am not an “apartment dog.” I don’t do “laying around the house all day.” Stick me in a little backyard and I’ll spend my time plotting how to jump the fence and go find some sheep. What I am is the perfect dog for someone who has land, livestock, or a serious commitment to keeping me busy, both physically and mentally. The good news? I’m smart, like, scary smart. Train me, give me a purpose, and I’ll be the most loyal, hardworking buddy you’ll ever have. But if you just want a couch potato? Keep scrolling.
