My story

At just 1.5~ years old, Xena found herself at a small town shelter after her family lost their home. With her kind eyes and gentle nature, Xena won hearts instantly. When space ran out and lives were at risk, rescuers stepped in just in time to make sure Xena’s story didn’t end too soon. Through it all, she has remained steady, loving, and full of quiet resilience. Her foster mom says Xena should have wings because she is an angel! What makes Xena so special? She’s wonderful with other dogs—friendly, easy going and really enjoys playing with other canine pals!                                                                                                  She’s lived with children and has the gentle, patient temperament to fit right back into family life. She’s house-trained, calm, and well-mannered—happy to hang out peacefully when left alone. She rides beautifully in the car, making her a great adventure buddy. She shares food politely, enjoys her walks, and loves companionship without being demanding. She adores her people and very devoted without being clingy or needy. Xena settles down quickly after playtime—she’s truly the kind of dog who just wants to be by your side. This loyal, affectionate, and resilient girl is ready for her second chance at family life.
