My story

Meet Begonia! This tiny, 15-pound spitfire hasn’t had the easiest start in life, but she hasn’t let that dim her spark. Though she’s only about 3 years old, it’s clear she’s already been a mama more than once. She first landed in a local shelter as a stray, was quickly adopted, and then heartbreakingly returned just days later when she came down with kennel cough. Alone, sick, and confused, Begonia’s spirit was starting to falter, but then we were alerted to her and rushed to bring her in to our rescue and give her the second chance at finding her forever home.And wow, did she bounce back fast!! Once she realized she was safe, Begonia came alive - this little dynamo is pure fun! She’s playful, outgoing, and happiest when she’s in the middle of the action. Begonia loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and always seems to be looking for her next adventure.With her big personality packed into her small frame, she’d thrive with an active family or person who can keep up with her zest for life and give her the love and attention she’s been missing.
