My story

Meet Mr. Beans! This little guy is just about a year old and already has quite the story. Mr. Beans came to us after his previous owner’s new job kept them out of town for long stretches, leaving him without the care and attention he needed. When he first arrived, he was overwhelmed by all the new sights and sounds, but with a little patience, he began to relax and show us his sweet personality.Because he wasn’t properly socialized before, everything was new to him, but you’d never guess it now! He’s been making tons of dog friends here at the rescue and is quickly learning that life can be fun. He can still be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience (and maybe a few treats) he’ll warm up and turn into your loyal shadow.Mr. Beans is still very much a youngster with his whole life ahead of him. He’s already practicing his sit… though his signature move seems to be hopping up on his back legs and twirling in a little circle. What can we say...he’s got style!!At his core, Mr. Beans is a cuddly, affectionate pup who just wants someone to love him and give him the time he missed out on. He’s done great with the other dogs here and adores cuddling once he feels safe.
