My story

Meet Ava! 🐾 Ava is a 2.5-month-old (DOB 6/4/25) mixed-breed cutie — a true Heinz 57, which means she’s got the best of everything rolled into one! This smart little girl is already rocking her crate training and walks herself proudly on a leash. She’s confident, outgoing, and absolutely fearless — whether she’s meeting big dogs, wrestling with bones almost bigger than she is, or even chasing down the vacuum cleaner! Ava is playful and independent, so she’ll thrive in a home that appreciates her adventurous spirit. She’s not a lap puppy (at least not yet!) but she’ll keep you entertained with her spunky personality and love of play. She does best in a home without small children, but would make a wonderful companion for a family with older kids, active adults, or another dog to pal around with. If you’re looking for a bold, fun-loving pup who’s ready to take on the world by your side, Ava might just be your girl! ❤️ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
