My story

Java is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Scroll through her pictures to see her cute video content! Java is irresistible with her beautiful brown coat and glowing amber eyes. As you can see from all of her content, dogs are also not immune to her charms! She is Miss Popular. We spotted Java at Chicago Animal Care and Control on a recent visit, and were of course smitten. She has a puppy-like look owing to her smaller stature and big smile, but she is 8-9 months old. She is just one of those Perma-Puppy types! Java is enjoying her new digs at Heartland-- she is roomies with Shake, gets to go on lots of walks, enjoys regular cuddle sessions in one of our playrooms, and so on! Java is a joy, and will make someone so happy. She really is just a perfect little lady waiting for you to come and meet her, and show her that life can be even sweeter! Java’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed/neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
