Dog Friendly: Yes Cat Friendly: Yes Kid Friendly: Yes, Older Children Weight: 75-80 lbs Petey’s journey began as a puppy when he was rescued from parvo and given a second chance at life. Now 6.5 years old, he’s once again in need of a safe and loving home where he can thrive. Petey is about 80 pounds and has been a loyal, affectionate companion to his previous family. He loves to wrestle and play with smaller dogs, snuggle up at night, and greet his favorite people at the vet with hugs and kisses. He can be shy and fearful at times, so he needs a patient and understanding home that will give him security and stability. He may bark at men in hats until he warms up, but once he trusts, he’s full of love. Because of his size and timid nature, he does best in an environment without young children. He has lived with multiple dogs and gets along well, but he’ll thrive most with an adopter or foster who can help him feel safe and supported. Right now, Petey is really struggling in boarding and needs a foster or adopter to step up for him. He’s ready for a calm, reassuring home where he can finally feel secure. Adoption Fee: $200 - Includes Spay/Neuter, Microchip, and UTD on all vaccines.
