My story

** ARIZONA ONLY ** PHOENIX METRO AREA * * Miss Maibel is looking for her new and forever and extremely wonderful family!❣️. She is approximately 8-10 months old, tall and lean, wonderfully long legs and a beautiful prance; she is about 22 pounds right now and needs to fill out just a little bit. She is spayed and microchipped and nicely groomed; she is partially vaccinated. We have one more vet appointment for her final round of vaccines with us. We are taking applications for her now. She is exceedingly playful and thrives best with another active compatible dog in the home—another dog who loves to play as much as she does. Maibel is incredibly smart, she knows her name, she comes when she is called. She sits on command and is learning wait and stay. With attention to her schedule, she is housebroken. She is so easy to love and will fit right into any home and family who is OK with doing a bit of puppy training. She gets a little too excited sometimes, and her people need to remind her to calm down—she’s just a puppy so she has delightful, puppy tendencies. She does not like to be crated at all, but does nicely with free roaming the house. Since she is a puppy, we just recommend closing doors to rooms where she does not need to go, and don’t leave paper and cardboard in place for her to chew and shred because she really loves to do that 😀  Mabel is great with dogs, even OK with cats, and would be fine in a home with children who are at least 9 or 10 years old and of an extremely responsible and respectful nature. She has an adventurous heart and cannot be in a home where irresponsible children live, where they or their friends may accidentally leave a door or gate open, or simply not go in and out swiftly enough. She is also tall and a little bit jumpy so we do not want small children in the home who could get scratched or knocked down by her sweet, but energetic play. Maibel has been rescued from a very challenging past, and we want only the best for her from here forward. This beautiful baby girl absolutely loves people, loves to snuggle, loves to be held, loves to give kisses, and will nudge herself so close and rest her head upon your neck. She is such a dream. Maibel will have a safe and loving home and nothing less. She would like to have grass in her own backyard so she can run and play to her heart’s desire with her doggy siblings. Turf is OK provided there is shade for sunny times of the day. We are looking for a person or a family, who is truly exceptional.
