Guess the number of spots on Drake and win a prize!**No, not a car. Not a vacation. Not even a fancy blender. Forget the trip to Bermuda - what you’re actually playing for is so much better: Drake himself, staring at you with 101 reasons to fall in love. You don’t get an all-inclusive cruise, but you do get an all-inclusive dog: cuddles, kisses, awkward sprints, perfect flops, and the privilege of wondering, "hey... does that spot look like a hippopotamus to you?"This sweet boy is somehow simultaneously awkward and athletic, with a grin that says “please love me” and, if you let him, endless kisses right on your nose.Drake is a two-year-old Dalmatian with the kind of balance only he could pull off: one minute he’s sprinting across the yard in a graceful blur, the next he’s executing an Olympic-worthy trip-and-flop that somehow lands him right at your feet. He sighs as he collapses into belly-rub position, and if you’re willing, he’ll rise up to give you a hug worthy of a Hallmark movie - complete with a gentle chin nibble that’s half affection, half “I taste-tested you just in case.”He’s already proven himself to be a dream in the home - housetrained, polite, never destructive. Great with kids. Fabulous with other dogs. He even has a trademark grin (looks a little like a snarl, but really it’s his way of saying, “Don’t panic, I come in peace. Wanna be friends?”). He adores women right away, and with men he just needs a little patience to warm up.And when you leave, he lets out the softest moan. Just one small, heartbreaking sound that says, “Come back soon, I miss you already.” You’ll hear it once and you’ll never forget it.So if you’re looking for the grand prize - the jackpot, the bonus round, the all-inclusive package of joy - you’ll find it in Drake.Drake got his spot at Animal Aid thanks to a kind neighbor who took him in after his family moved away. She hoped to find him a home herself, but with kids, her own dogs, and a sudden job change, life was too much. Even though Drake wasn’t “hers,” she cried when she dropped him off. That’s the kind of dog he is - the kind you grieve over even when you’ve only had him for a little while.Come meet Drake at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road in Hampton. We’re open every day from 9am to noon, even weekends and holidays.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
