Major cutie alert!! Major is a senior spaniel, he has a distinguished black coat with silvery salt and pepper sprinkles. He's neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Read Major's full profile and submit an adoption application: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/major Major's highlights: Major is a laid back gentleman. Like many a good 'ole dog before him, he enjoys the finer things in life such as a relaxing walk, the tastiest of treats, and lots of quality snuggling. As a seasoned Spaniel, he can be wary of strangers. It's likely due to the fact that he can't see or hear as well as he used to. Like any good Major, this gentleman is here to supervise the goings on of the household. In his ideal home, his humans would be around most of the day. This would ensure he could properly supervise and provide companionship - for your benefit. Major is doing well with house and potty training. He does best with a regular schedule for going out to go potty. As a back up, he'll wear belly-band while his foster is out. As a walking enthusiast, Major doesn't require a yard. However, he'd be delighted if his new home had the leisure space to sunbathe. Major would love to be a solo dog in his new home. He could live with a similarly sized or larger companion. He's working through some resource guarding. He ignores cats. He hasn't met kids, we think he'd do well with older, dog-savvy kids or in an adult-only household.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Major, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
