My story

Oh boy look at this pretty girl named Jewel . She was named appropriately because she is definitely a precious jewel. She is listed as a female 3 yro pit mix who is somewhat "thick" , dog, child and cat friendly. She would be considered a medium to low energy girl who would definitely like to walk on a leash but love to play in the yard with a thrown ball or stuffie toy. Jewel is crate trained but definitely can be left out of the crate if you decide too. She is house broken and has not damaged anything in our home. Unfortunately, she found herself and her little friend abandoned in a trailer park in GA that is notoriously known as a place where dogs and cats are dumped. Fortunately a rescue found them both and they were taken in. She is already spayed, chipped and UTD on her age appropriate shots, she is a perfect girl! That sad experience has left her somewhat shy when first meeting people but with lots of pets, treats, praise and a little time she will get past it....she has made great strides in her foster home!!
