My story

Get ready for a party of fun, excitement and loads of puppy fun! We have Daizie and her sister Hazel joining the ranks of Dog Star hopefuls in finding their forever home. We know their future is brighter than ever and we are here to help them along the way. They came into rescue as strays and unhealthy. Their perseverance came through and with the help of caring takers, both have made miraculous recoveries. Now with their past behind them, they are eager to step it up and meet their forever families. They deserve the best that life has to offer. Daizie is a 4-month-old terrier/labrador retriever mix. She is currently around 30 pounds. She has some growing to do in the future and it is estimated that she will be a medium gal of under 60 pounds when she is fully grown. Daizie loves the company of other dogs and children. She will enjoy lots of attention and affection. She will thrive with a bunch of friends and play dates to work off her puppy energy. Then she will settle down nicely on a soft bed or cuddled with a member of her family. She has not been introduced to cats since coming into rescue. With a solid effort, Daizie is working toward her skills of house, crate and leash training. It will take time and commitment from her family as well as Daizie, but she is working hard to make her goals a success. As with all puppies, Daizie is full of curiosity and wonderment and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize her so that she can become the perfect lifelong companion.The days ahead will be filled with wonders, adventure and missions of curiosity. Daizie will be the subject of many conversations, and her family will sing her praises. There will never be a dull day when you have Daizie in your life. * Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.The adoption fee for Daizie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
