My story

Meet Summit! Summit is a 4-month-old German Shepherd mix who is already proving to be a very smart boy. Born on the streets of KCMO with his siblings, Summit is now safe, healthy, and ready for a forever family. This handsome pup has a wonderful start on his training — he already knows sit and stay, is kennel trained, and is well on his way to being housetrained. Summit is eager to please, quick to learn, and will thrive in a home that continues his training and provides him with structure and love. Like most shepherd mixes, he’s intelligent, alert, and full of potential. Summit would be a great fit for an active family looking for a loyal companion to grow with. If you’re ready for an adventurous, smart, and loving pup, Summit could be the one for you! All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee: $225 for all dogs and puppies.
