My story

Some suggest the origin of the name Samantha is the combination of the female version of Samuel plus the Greek derivative of “anthos” meaning “beauty”.  Meet Miss Samantha!  And what a beauty she is!  Her bengal-like markings remind me of a wonderful cinnamon roll, with the curved, delicious swirls across her body.  Who can resist?  Don’t you want to eat her up?  She has a sister, Serena, that looks like an identical twin, but Samantha is lighter in color.  The sisters were found on 6/1/25 with their five orange brothers, alongside their mama, who had passed.  Only about two weeks old, they landed at my foster home the next day.  After many exhausting hours and weeks of bottle feeding these babies, they developed into wonderful, healthy kittens.  Not a sick one in the bunch!  That is almost supernatural.  Little Samantha has quickly turned into a love-bug, and has cast her spell on me, for certain.  She loves to crawl up onto my shoulders, as that is her favorite place to perch.  Sam has always been a whimsical little kitten, that does not ever seem to stop!  She is a feisty, spunky little girl, that loves to play.  She seems to have special powers that allow her to jump straight up to catch the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  She and her siblings spend hours flying across their kitten room, from the tower, to the condo, to the hammock.  Hours of fun, for me and for them.  Samantha is quite magical.  When it is time to eat, she lets out this adorable little chirp of a cry, which is quite enchanting.  She quickly jumps up to give me a nose kiss.  What a love!  This is no trick.  No nose twitching.  No need to make a wish.  Don’t pull a Darrin or be a Dum-Dum.  Contact CCR and adopt this bewitching kitten, before she vanishes with a snap of a finger.   Samantha is scheduled to be spayed on Tuesday, August 26, and will be ready to live her best life shortly after.  If you are interested in this gorgeous girl, please contact Critter Calvary Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com, and be sure to mention where you live, city and state.August 29, 2025, 9:51 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt KITTEN SAMANTHA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
