**Meet Astra – Your Sweet Little Pitt-i-Potamus!** Astra is a 4-month-old (~DOB 04/23/2025) Pit Bull/Cane Corso mix weighing 26 lbs, and she’s as precious as her name. Her foster mom calls her a “baby pitt-i-potamus”—the perfect blend of pit bull charm and hippo silliness! From her adorable little grunts to her funny puppy noises, Astra is guaranteed to brighten your day. She’s making great progress with house training and does wonderfully in her crate. Astra loves to play with toys, romp with other dogs, and soak up all the cuddles she can get. She’s good with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful fit for many types of families. Since Astra and her sister weren’t well socialized early on, she can be a bit shy at first. But with the help of a confident canine friend, she truly blossoms—so we highly recommend a doggy companion to help her shine. Sweet, affectionate, and full of puppy love, Astra is ready to be someone’s best friend for life. Could she be yours? Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
