My story

AN ADOPTION APPLICATION WILL BE REQUIRED. BRUTUS IS FREE TO A LOVING QUALIFIED HOME. INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA. - Brutus is a very very sweet tender 5 year old male Saint Bernard. Brutus is neutered, vetted and very healthy, microchipped, heart worm, flea tick preventative and has even had the gastrointestinal stitching when he was neutered. He just went to the vet for wellness and vaxes. He weighed in at 120 lbs. Great with humans, and dogs but no cats. He is too interested in them although he lives with 3 cats now and is great with them and cuddles with them etc. Sadly, original owner had to rehome him a few years back and recently got Brutus back from the folks he was adopted to. The family is going through a divorce and cannot keep him but took great care of him while they had him. They love him and so much his original owner in Cincinnati. But, the original owner who loves him too cannot keep him and is looking for a loving forever home that can give him exercise, attention/affection and adventures. FROM BRUTUS' OWNER- sweet gorgeous male St. I adopted him as a puppy years ago. I was not in a position to care for him properly with 2 other dogs and 3 cats so I rehomed him with a coworker and it was a great fit until they divorced. I took him back because he’s my responsibility and I won’t abandon a dog; they are family. I have moved since and cannot keep Brutus. He deserves a yard to run and play in and someone home, to be part of a family and fun activities. I am looking for someone that doesn’t have cats. He lives with mine and doesn’t care at all but he won’t accept any other cat(s) and chases them. I’m not sure why but it would be best if he has a home without cats to start.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Brutus, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
