My story

Hi there, I’m Roscoe! I’m a 9-year-old Golden/Great Pyrenees mix, and I think it’s about time I found my forever family. I’m a big boy with a gentle soul. I don’t need much—just a couple of short walks each day so I can sniff all the good smells. I walk like a dream on a leash, too. After my morning stroll, I’m happy to nap the day away. Here are a few things about me: I get along with cats and even chickens (farm life sounds fun!) I enjoy calm dog friends but I’m also fine being your one and only I’m potty trained and can stay home alone for a few hours (after my morning walk I am a pro napper!) I love people and once I trust you, I’ll flop right over for belly rubs Because of my size and my Pyrenees personality, I’d do best in a laid-back home. I like kids, but older ones (6+) are probably the best match for me. I do have kidney disease, but don’t worry—it’s managed with a special diet and regular vet visits. I’m thriving and have so much love to give. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will happily snuggle and soak up belly rubs, I might just be your guy. Could I be the one for you?
