Sponsored Adoption - NBC Clear the Shelter Event - August 1st thru August 31stHi, I’m Buddy! I’m a 1.5 year old energetic Lab with a big personality and even bigger love for playtime. Fetch is one of my favorite games, and I’m always excited to share my joy with people who are ready for some fun. I truly love being around humans and have a happy, enthusiastic way of spreading smiles.I can get a little carried away when I`m having fun and may use my mouth during play, but I`m a young dog who is learning every day. With structure, consistency, and positive guidance, I`ve been making wonderful progress and love earning praise for doing the right thing.Shelter life isn`t always easy for me, and the busy environment can make me seem a little nervous. But underneath it all is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves people and wants nothing more than to be part of a family. Give me a little time to settle in, and you`ll discover a loyal companion who is ready to share all of life`s adventures with you.Because I can become overstimulated during play and am still learning appropriate boundaries, I would do best in a home without children. A calm, adult-only home will help set me up for success and allow me to continue building confidence and good habits.Even better, my adoption comes with a fully paid training package through a certified trainer, so my new family will have professional support every step of the way as I continue to grow into the best dog I can be.
