Prince

My story

Prince is a very friendly and energetic dog who loves being around people and thrives in a relaxed home environment. He enjoys attention and affection, often coming over for pets and snuggles when things are calm. Some things to know about Prince: He pulls on the leash, so he'll need some leash training. He’s active in the car but respectful—he stays in the back seat while driving. He greets strangers excitedly and may jump up, so some manners training would be helpful. He gets along with people but can be reactive toward other small animals. He occasionally barks at the resident senior dog (a 10-year-old Lab), though it's not clear why. Prince would do best in a home with space to run and someone who can spend time with him, give him the attention he craves, and help guide him through a few training areas. With the right environment, Prince will be a loyal and loving companion. Prince is doing great with his foster brother! He has learned about respecting boundaries, especially when other dogs aren't as playful as he is. Prince does best with dogs his size or bigger. In his foster home, Prince is learning to play fetch with the son! So far Prince will chase the ball but he hasn't learned quite how to bring it back yet. Prince is a high energy and high drive dog, he is always focused on something in the yard like a squirrel or rabbit. Your yard will be free of them with Prince in your home. Apply to meet him today!
