Questions should be directed to Miley’s owner at jwoodyard@live.com ** Miley in Houston, Texas: Meet Miley, a brave little 3 year old Jack Russell from Houston, Texas. For over four months, she survived in the woods near a homeless encampment, across from a dangerous area. Workers from a nearby business would spot her peeking out now and then, leaving food to help her get by. After months of living on her own, she was finally rescued and is now thriving in foster care. Sweet, affectionate, and house-trained, Miley is learning what it means to be safe and loved. She can be a little clingy — and who could blame her after all she’s been through? Now, she’s ready for a forever home where she’ll never have to wonder where her next meal or cuddle will come from. Miley needs a securely fenced back yard to run and play in. We also hope her new owner will not be gone all day. She is very young and needs attention, especially after what she has been through. This girl needs a lot of exercise. She is not a couch potato and will need an owner who can go for walks, throw a ball in the backyard, play around in the water hose, chase socks in the living room and just be with her. If you have never had a Jack Russell and know nothing about the breed, she is probably not the dog for you. She seems to like other dogs but if you know the breed you know that placing with another female is not a good idea. Also, no little critters such as hamsters or parakeets or lizards. No farm animals like chickens, little goats or lambs, etc. However, If you have any varmints tearing up your back lawn she will dispatch them for you. You won’t have moles, gophers, squirrels, rats, or mice. Miley has had her vaccinations and she is also spayed. If you are interested, please go to www.RussellRescue.com and fill out the online adoption application. There is a small rehoming fee. Her new owner will need to drive to the Houston, Texas area to get her. Miley is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with her placement. Questions should be directed to Miley’s owner at jwoodyard@live.com
