Winter

My story

My foster writes:Winter, this handsome, healthy boy loves to cuddle and nap next to the human, once he feels comfortable with. He wakes up when the human gets up, lays down at the kitchen entry, patiently waits for her next move there. When he likes the human, he gives a prize by gently brushing himself with a subtle purr, follows around, with curiosity. He voices out to let you know if the litter box needs to be cleaned up. He acts as a guardian, alert of his surroundings with pointy ears with big blue eyes. Very loyal, usually stays in the same room where the human is, observing at distance. He also likes to climb up high on the perch and shelves, so that he can look down what the world is moving.Winter is very toy motivated (loves to chase a ribbon/mouse cat dancer/interactive toy), he sometimes zooms one room to another with thunder rolling crashes, when he is in the mood. You can tell Winter has been an adored house cat. He is yet to discover his potentials, and he requires his safe haven of his own, with the understanding, loving family.A volunteer writes: A week ago, handsome, shy Winter was living in a home with his human family and other cat siblings. Now he's at the Care Center, struggling to feel safe and secure. This quiet, low-key little dude came to us with a glowing review: Winter got along with the adult and child in the household, his former person said, and he's tolerant and gentle with feline friends. He has super manners, uses the litterbox, enjoys hanging out in the kitchen, and tends to occupy himself but is also warm and loving when the mood strikes. Since he's been with us, Winter has allowed some pettings and seems to be warming up. But the cat adoption room can be a confusing place, and he's taking his time to get his bearings. The ideal pet parent for Winter would be someone who understands that sometimes the best cats need a slow approach and time to adjust. We have had overtime a few of his housemates and some like Mc Fluffy and Tina Turbo are still with us. Winter is known to be a quiet and shy kitty who takes time to warm up but when he does, he is a gentle  and friendly soul. Winter is most often found at the back of his cubby, his baby blue eyes fixed on his visitor, wary of their next step. He likes treats and high end food but he will only eat them when he is alone. He accepts petting while he remains quite subdued. Winter is a young and very handsome cat who needs a quiet home, a new owner who understands shy cats but also one who could slowly attempt to interest their adopted pet to new and fun activities.
