Meet Lulu – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Second Chance This is Lulu, a young mama dog with a heart full of love and eyes that tell a story of resilience. Recently rescued with her litter of puppies, Lulu has done an incredible job caring for her babies—now it’s her turn to be cared for. Lulu is a mixed breed sweetheart who’s been through a lot. She's in rough shape physically, likely from a life of neglect, but her spirit is gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet hope. Despite everything, she leans into kindness and seeks out gentle touches and soft voices. She adores being close to people and will gladly press her head into your hand for pets and reassurance. She’s calm, patient, and endlessly loving. Lulu would thrive in a peaceful home where she can rest, heal, and blossom at her own pace. She may need a little extra TLC—nutritious food, a comfy bed, vet care, and most of all, love—but what she gives in return is something truly special. The adoption fee is 350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.   ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
