Meet Pureum – The Lovable Border Collie Mom 4 years old | Spayed Female | Border Collie | 23kg | Gray & White Rescue Story In 2023, Pureum and her daughter, Parang, were found in an illegal breeding facility. While over 20 other dogs were rescued, the breeder locked Pureum and Parang inside and refused to release them. For two long years, they remained hidden away—until this past June, when a community post about Parang’s injured leg led to their discovery. It turned out both dogs had been living in an isolated outdoor kennel, not a real home. With persistence, rescuers convinced the owner to surrender them. Parang has since had her leg surgery and is recovering well, while Pureum is now ready to find her forever family. With People Pureum is a true people-dog! She happily approaches both familiar and new people, leaning in for pets and attention. She especially loves men and is wonderfully gentle with children under 13. She allows handling all over, including being lifted, and when she feels comfortable, she’ll even roll over for belly rubs. Affectionate and playful, Pureum always wants to be first in line for attention. With Dogs Pureum gets along with dogs of all sizes—whether bigger or similar in size—and avoids conflict even if another dog tries to provoke her. She’ll greet politely but isn’t the type to wrestle or cuddle up with canine friends. Overall, she prefers humans over dogs, though she coexists peacefully in a group. With Cats On walks, she shows curiosity toward cats but follows her handler’s lead without issue. A proper cat test can be arranged. Energy Level Pureum has a balanced energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities but also knows how to settle. After a nice walk or play session, she loves to curl up quietly on a chair and nap. Walks & Training She is an experienced walker who doesn’t pull on the leash and happily follows her handler’s pace. Other Notes • No food guarding with humans or other dogs • No separation anxiety, but she may bark to be let out if others are playing while she’s left behind • Generally quiet, though she has some demand barking • Calm in the car—jumps in and out by herself and rides quietly • House-trained outdoors, with occasional pee-pad use at night Pureum is affectionate, gentle, and ready to give her heart to a forever family who will finally give her the love and home she deserves. Send in your application through our website! Please also check out her post on our Facebook or Instagram. Currently in South Korea, available for adoption in Canada or the US/ ##2511008##
