My story

Hi everyone, I'm Kenai! I'm a 2 month old male medium mixed breed who's currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus! I was originally brought in with my brother when we were found as strays at just a wee month old and have come a long way since then. My sibling has since been adopted to a nice family and now I think it's my turn to find a nice family of my own. Up until recently, I have been living at a foster home where my servant- I mean foster mom- has been exposing me to lots of new things, like desensitizing me to different noises and working a bit on my confidence. I've had positive experiences with dogs (large and small) as well as a cat. If you're looking for an energetic bundle of joy to take on adventures, I'd be the perfect adventure buddy to have lots of fun with. More importantly, if you're looking for the man of your dreams, look no further cause I'm right here! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
