My story

Meet Pop! Our 3 month old, female domestic shorthair kitten. A fearless little feline with lots of curiosity for adventure. Pop chases toys, shoelaces and laser pointers like a true hunter. Pop loves to wrestle with other cats and explore her surrounded, climbing and getting behind whatever she can. Pop might even climb you, Pop will bring joy, laughter, and a touch of mischief into your home. But a home isn`t all she is looking for she’s looking for a family and playmates for life. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
