My story

* Available in Shelter for Meet & Greets * Gray is a cautious little guy who’s still learning to trust people. He tends to hang back at first and often prefers the comfort of his kennel when the world feels overwhelming. With treats, he’s more comfortable enjoying them once they’ve been set down rather than taken from a hand. But when no one’s looking? Gray’s playful side shines through. Volunteers have caught him batting at toys and having fun outside of his kennel when he feels safe. Play may be the key to helping him gain confidence and learn that people bring good things. Gray will do best in a calm, patient home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Once he feels secure, this sweet boy has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
