Meet Rody!Rody is a sweet 9-year-old gentleman who is ready to enjoy his golden years in a calm, loving home. Recently surrendered due to lifestyle changes, Rody is adjusting to a new chapter in life and is hoping to find someone who can give him the comfort and companionship he deserves. This laid-back guy is the definition of a couch potato. His favorite pastime? Lounging near his people and soaking up all the love. Rody thrives in a quiet environment where he can relax, decompress, and feel safe. Due to some sensitivities, Rody doesn’t like his back legs touched and would do best in a home with older children who understand boundaries or an adult-only household. He’s not high-maintenance—just a gentle soul who wants respect, love, and a soft spot to snooze. If you’ve been looking for a mellow buddy to share your couch and your heart, Rody is your guy. Come meet him and see if you’re the peaceful match he’s been waiting for.This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
