Meet Pepper – Bright, Sweet, and Learning the RopesPepper is a 1½-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a spark in her eyes and a spring in her step. She’s still learning her name (with the help of her volunteer friends), but she’s already proving how smart and treat-motivated she is. Always alert and curious, Pepper notices everything around her - especially the squirrels, who make leash walking a bit of an adventure right now.At first, Pepper isn’t the type to smother you with affection. She likes to take her time, get to know you, and make sure you’re worth her heart. But once she decides you are? Good luck prying her out of your lap - she’s a cuddlebug through and through.Pepper is looking for a home that will continue guiding her with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
