My story

Meet Happy! Happy is a sweet 12-year-old boy who came into our care through our Final Wish Program, along with his brother, Prince, after the passing of their devoted mom. These two gentle seniors spent their entire lives by her side, and her daughter shared this heartfelt note: "Happy and Prince are loving dogs. They just need a good home and someone to love them and give them attention. They both adored my mom and followed her everywhere she went." Now adjusting to life without their mom, Happy and Prince are beginning to open up at FFF. Though understandably shy and unsure at first, they are now seeking out gentle affection from our staff and volunteers. We’re giving them all the time and love they need to feel safe again. Happy is a very sweet and gentle boy who enjoys going for walks and on our weekly group hikes. He walks with pep in his step and has good endurance. Happy takes treats ever so gently.
