Lola

My story

Lola ( whose paperwork says Yola 🙃) but we are calling her Lola . Is apx 4 years young, tall, and very sweet. 15 pounds. Lola came to us from a shelter about 4 hours away where she stayed for 5 months and no one adopted her. Inside her cage all day, all night, no bedding or blankies or toys. No one chose her. The shelter reached out to ask us to take her and we did of course. Lola is gentle, sweet, quiet, has good potty manners here, walks on leash and harness but is a little scared at first in new places. She gets along well with other animals but will at times be a tad dominant with new comers and just kind of posture or put her hackles up but nothing ever comes of it and there is no behavior after that , I think she just likes the new kids to know she is boss lady, which is funny bc when she came and she was the “new “ girl she was super submissive and belly up and shy 😂 . I think she wants to act like she is protecting her fur friends. She is with several dogs here at the rescue and they all get along great. She is over all a fantastic dog and definitely ready to finally, after all this time, to have a place to call home. Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given.
