Spritz

My story

A volunteer writes:Spritz is a sweet little gal who was left behind as her family lost their home. When I first met Spritz, she was at the back of her kennel, on her balcony, all eyes on me as I opened her door, wondering likely what yet another stranger might want from her. Spritz is a good kitty. She did not hiss or swat at me and just made herself a little smaller. She accepted my hand and  slowly leaned against it, closing her eyes and relaxing her body. She felt soft and silky, a precious little tiger. Later on, I spotted Spritz in the arms of a staff and being hugged by him.... I knew she was a "good one" and she just needs to be given a chance, preferably with a gentle and patient adopter who understands shy cats or those who went through difficult times. Sweet Spritz dreams to be home, so ask for her when you come to the Manhattan Care Center.What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.
