My story

From a rough start on the streets to a second chance at a forever home, Gigi's journey is as beautiful as she is. This stunning little tortie girl was born outdoors, but her story took a turn for the better thanks to a kind woman who feeds community cats. One day, Gigi surfaced after her momma brought her for food. She was just a kitten and sadly, Gigi's mother never returned for her. But Gigi’s charm and playful spirit didn’t go unnoticed. When a local rescue was contacted for help, they were told she might be tricky to catch. Fortunately, once engaged in playing with a string she was easily secured for rescue. Sure enough, her love for play led her right to safety! Now, Gigi is waiting for her forever family and we’re honored to help her find a life full of love and comfort far away from the dangers of street life. About Gigi: * Petite & Pretty – Weighing just 5 lbs! * One-of-a-Kind Markings – A truly unique tortie coat. * Friendly & Playful – She’s sweet-natured and likes to play. * Resilient & Ready – After all she’s been through, Gigi is still full of trust and heart. Whether she's batting at a string or snuggling up for quiet time, Gigi is sure to bring warmth and joy to your home. Come meet this tiny survivor with a mighty spirit and give her the happy ending she deserves. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
