My story

🐾 Meet Anya! 🐾 Breed: Husky Mix Estimated DOB: 10/29/2024 Anya’s story began with a rough start — she was found abandoned at a shelter, very pregnant and in need of help. Thankfully, Heart of America Humane Society stepped in to give her a safe place to have and raise her pups. Now that her mom duties are over, Anya is ready to focus on herself and discover what it means to just be a dog again. With her ice-blue eyes, expressive ears, and confident stance, Anya is everything you’d expect from a Husky mix — loyal, intelligent, and strikingly beautiful. Her breed heritage likely brings a mix of Husky independence and playfulness, possibly blended with a more easygoing breed that gives her a wonderful balance of energy and affection. Anya is still learning what “puppy-free” life is all about — things like soft beds, belly rubs, and leisurely walks are all new joys she’s starting to embrace. She’ll thrive with adopters who understand Husky traits and can offer the structure, exercise, and companionship she deserves.
