Baton Rouge, Louisiana Lickingforlove.org Don’t let his size fool you—this five-year-old, heartworm negative, toddler-proof Chihuahua is absolutely convinced he’s the leader of a wolf pack. Rocco is feisty, talkative, and never shy about telling you exactly what he wants. He gets along well with other dogs. He’ll tolerate a crate but would much rather be free to rule the backyard (or the couch). He once picked a fight with a leash and still holds a grudge. Independence is his thing, but so is working those giant eyes until you hand over your snacks. With his apple head, side-eye, and “I run this place” energy, Rocco will keep you laughing, entertained, and on your toes!
