Leo Blue Eyes

My story

If Elton John were to write a song about Leo, it would go “Blue eyes, baby’s got blue eyes. Like a deep blue sea!” Leo is currently 75 pounds, and at his age he still has some growing left to do! Here at the shelter, Leo is friendly and happy to greet everyone he meets. He already knows “sit” and “down,” and he’s working on “shake,” so he’s clearly a smart boy who will learn anything you’re willing to teach him! Leo is a super playful pup who would love a home that offers a variety of toys to choose from. In his previous home, Leo lived successfully with a 10-year-old child and may enjoy doing so again. Leo is a large dog and can be a bit jumpy, so we recommend bringing everyone in the family (pups included!) along to meet Leo to ensure he’s a good fit. Leo would thrive in an environment that offers him structure and training so he can become the best canine citizen he can be. Do you have room in your home and heart for a big, blue-eyed boy? Come visit and get to know Leo!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the “shelter information” box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
