My story

Say hello to Peppercorn, a 2-month-old, 7lb (and growing) bundle of love and curiosity who’s ready to find a forever home! With a heart as big as those floppy ears, he is full of sweetness, playful energy, and all the charm that comes with puppyhood. At this age, Peppercorn is in a crucial stage of learning and growing. He will thrive in a home that can provide consistent training, positive socialization, and lots of patience as he continues to discover the world. Puppy classes and daily routines will help him build confidence and blossom into a well-rounded adult dog. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, cozy naps by your side, or learning new tricks, Peppercorn is ready to be your loyal companion through it all. If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, smart, and eager-to-learn pup into your life, then Peppercorn can’t wait to meet you!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the “shelter information” box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
