My story

Leotie is an adorable kitten with a sleek black coat. Her foster family describes her as very talkative and attention-seeking. She's quite tech savvy and enjoys playing video games on the iPad. She is a big cuddle bug and enjoys lap time with her foster parents. After a slow introduction, Leotie has become very comfortable with the dogs in her foster home. These dogs are senior and very cat-friendly and gentle. Her foster parents have also worked on carrier training and nail trimming, and she does well taking meds. Leotie’s estimated date of birth is 5/13/2025. A Good Samaritan brought Leotie to VEG ER for Pets with a serious injury to one of her limbs. Turns out, Leotie had an old left hip luxation and her back left leg was amputated. She has healed up well and gets around like any other kitten her age. Leotie and Flounder have been in the same foster home for a few weeks, and they love to play, nap, and watch bird and fish TV together. They are both an absolute joy to foster and will make their future adopters so happy! Leotie and Flounder can be adopted together or separately into homes with another young cat who can provide stimulation and socialization. All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. For more information on this policy: www.adoptapet.com/blog/how-to-cure-only-kitten-syndrome/ For more information and pictures, go to our website: http://www.ppahrescue.org/adoptable-pets/ To submit an adoption application online: http://www.ppahrescue.org/adoptapp/ If you cannot adopt, please share to help Leotie find a "furrever" home. To make a donation via PayPal, USPS, or one of our current campaigns; to provide an item from our Amazon Wish List, or to sponsor an animal, please do so here: http://www.ppahrescue.org/donation/ All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. They are ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $175.00 each. If you have any questions, please email Admin@PPAHrescue.org. Thank you.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Leotie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
