My story

Sweet Sophie is a 7-year-old Havapoo with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! She came to the rescue with her beloved brother Charlie, and these two are a bonded pair—double the love, double the snuggles! Sophie is a certified cuddle queen who’s happiest curled up on the couch or nestled in her cozy dog bed. But don’t let her calm demeanor fool you—pick up her leash for a walk or give her some affection, and she lights up with joy! Her favorite greeting? Paws up and ready for maximum head scratches when you walk through the door! She’s a quiet little lady (unless startled, but she settles quickly), completely housebroken, and has a growing curiosity for toys. Treats? Yes, please! She’s gentle with kids, indifferent to other dogs, but loves her brother and time with Charlie—nose to nose, tail to tail, always together. Sophie rides like a pro in the car and handled her vet visit like a champ (just a little nervous, but no fuss!). She’s looking for a home where she can snuggle to her heart’s content, enjoy regular walks, and be adored for her adorable snore. Her early life was quiet and sedentary, so she’s just now discovering the joys of being a dog. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but her gentle nature suggests she’d adapt well.If you’re ready to open your heart and home to twice the love, Sophie and Charlie are ready to bring joy, snuggles, and tail wags into your life. Potential adopters must have a fenced yard. Sophie has been fixed, vaccinated for DHLP-P and Rabies, micro-chipped, wormed, flea treated, and heartworm tested. ($550 worth of veterinary care.)
