Scooter is the sweetest couch potato you’ll ever meet. While he can be a little nervous at first with new people, once he warms up, he’s incredibly loving and loyal—your typical “velcro dog” who just wants to be by your side and see what you’re up to. He’s still learning his manners since he never had formal obedience training, but he’s making great progress. He’s very food-motivated, already knows “sit,” and will happily go into his crate for a treat. He even responds to both hand signals and verbal cues! Scooter also does wonderfully with other large breed dogs and knows his place with cats, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. His favorite pastime is chewing on his nylabones while keeping you company. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who’s happiest when close to his people, Scooter may just be the perfect match!
