My story

The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    Louie is a 5 month old Mastiff/Great Dane mix. Louie is a red merle. Louie is very shy and timid in new situations. He take a little more time to trust people They pups had never seen people, so they are quite shy at first. Louie loves to play with his siblings. He uses his huge paws and smacks his siblings to let them know it is wrestle time. Louie is working on his leash skills so that he can go out in the big scary world and realize it is not that bad. Louie needs a confident playful dog sibling in his new home to help show him the ways. He knows how to use the doggie door and loves the freedom to go outside to play and then come back inside to nap. Louie is a sweet boy, who just needs a little patience to help him become a wonderful part of your family.    Louie's adoption fee: $800We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
